Avril currently works at State Street Corporation - Investment Management Division as Director of Oversight. Since joining the professional chapter in 1998, Avril has served on the Board in various positions including: President, Parliamentarian/Historian, External Vice President, Internal Vice President, Director of Student Affairs, Assistant Secretary, Chair of Annual Awards Reception and Chair of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant (VITA) program. She has also served on Boston Chapter's Convention Committee Board for the 2003 National Convention. Avril was awarded the Outstanding Professional Member Award in 2001. For FY 2008, Avril serves as a committee member on NABA’s Annual Eastern Region Student Conference (ERSC) Technical Session Committee.
